Zucchini is capricious to the quality of food. They need to be fed during fruit growth but strictly adhere to the balance. If the plant does not have enough boron, strokes and lines will appear on the skin. If you do not have enough iodine – zucchini will rot. Lack of potassium will lead to the fact that the fruit will form a spherical tip. The narrow central part of the fruit indicates a calcium deficiency.
What fertilizers are suitable for feeding zucchini in July
First of all, zucchini need potassium and phosphorus. You can use water diluted with boron and superphosphate. You need to dilute 1 gram of acid and 30 grams of superphosphate in hot water and bring the volume to 10 liters. This solution should be fed to zucchini after watering, at least 3 liters per plant.
You can also make a green infusion for fertilizing. It will take at least a week. You need to grind the grass without seeds and fill the bucket in half with it. Then fill with water, cover, and leave to ferment for a week. The resulting mixture should be diluted again with water at a rate of 1:10, pour a glass of wood ash and mix everything. Zucchini is fed green infusion after watering, one plant needs about 2 liters.
