The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 282-k announced on July 12, 2021, after the election of a new rector of the university, that Professor Tetiana Kaganovska was appointed rector of the Kharkiv National University named after VN Karazin on July 14, 2021, and contracted with it.

On July 14, at a meeting of the rector’s office, Academician Will Bakirov announced the signed order, congratulated him on the appointment, and handed to the newly appointed rector a transitional book on the main affairs of the university departments.
In her opening speech, Titiana Kaganowska expressed her gratitude to Academician Vela Bakirov, who has headed the university for more than 8 20 years.
She noted that Karazin University has always been a team of like-minded people, working on the principles of professionalism, competence, responsibility, freedom, and mutual respect.
The atmosphere of creativity and scientific research always prevails at the university.
She stressed that the work of the dean of the university is a great responsibility and that Karazin University is a strong university institution with great potential and prospects for development.
Titiana Kaganowska
Tetyana Yevheniivna Kaganovska was born on October 11, 1975 in Melitopol, Zaporizhia Region. In 1997 she graduated from the National Law Academy named after Yaroslav the Wise with a law degree, qualified as a specialist in law, with a diploma with honors. In 2000 she defended her doctoral thesis in law on “Tax Powers in the System of Tax Relations Subjects”.
And in September 2001 she moved to work at VN Karazin Kharkiv National University in the Department of Law of the Faculty of Philosophy, then was elected as the head of the department.
Together with her colleagues, she took an active part in the revival of the Faculty of Law of Karazin University. In May 2005 she was elected Dean of the University’s Faculty of Law.
defended in May 2012 her doctoral thesis on “Administrative and Legal Principles of Public Administration in Ukraine”, Doctor of Law, Specialization 12.00.07 – Administrative Law and Procedure; Finance Law Information Law. In 2014, he received the academic title of Professor of Foreign Affairs and Legal Specialties.
Honorary Lawyer of Ukraine, recipient of the Order of Princess Olga III degree. Research interests – development of higher education, the legal framework of public administration in Ukraine.
