The Ministry of Education and Science has recommended a new model curriculum for basic secondary education in schools.

The relevant order was signed by the Minister of Education Serhiy Shkarlet.
In total, the Ministry of Education received 75 model curricula for basic secondary education.
The Ministry of Education notes that the conceptual foundations of the new State Standard of Basic Secondary Education have been implemented in the content of the programs. It is expected that the curriculum will be the basis for the development of new educational and methodological literature for grades 5-9.
It is planned those model curricula will be introduced by schools in the educational process in stages, starting from the 2022/23 school year.
This school year, the programs will be implemented only in schools piloting the New Ukrainian School reform.
