Moldovan President Maya Sandu, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and European Council President Charles Michel will take part in the 17th International Conference in Batumi on July 19. This is stated in a statement on the conference website.

It is noted that the forum will focus on increasing the level of cooperation between the three EU associate partners – Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, which were recently officially registered as an Associate Trio.
Georgia will be represented at the conference by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, President Salome Zurabishvili, and members of the government.
Conference agenda
The first topic on the agenda of the event is entitled: Three states – one choice: Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine in motion. Its speakers: Sandu, Zelensky, Michel, and Zurabishvili.
In the second group, representatives of well-known think tanks will consider updating the traditional transatlantic dialogue and possible scenarios for its development.
The conference, entitled “The European Union’s Gravity and the Transformation of the Region,” will be held in a mixed format – only keynote speakers will be present at the event, and spectators will be able to follow their speeches online.
On July 12, Zelensky from Germany called Moldovan President Sanda, in which he congratulated her on the successful election and invited her to Ukraine.
The Associated Trio of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova was launched in May this year by the foreign ministers of these countries in Kyiv. The activities of the trio provide for enhanced cooperation on European integration.
