In Moldova, traffic will be blocked for a year on the section of the M1 highway connecting Romania and Ukraine.

Traffic restrictions are related to the repair of the bridge, which will begin on July 19 and last until the end of June 2022.
Thus, from July 19 of the year, traffic will be blocked on the M1 highway, which starts from the border with Romania and crosses Leusheny, Chisinau, Dubossary, and ends at the border with Ukraine.
In this regard, traffic will be redirected on the routes R4 R6 – Goyan – Criuleni – M1 and G72 R6 – Braniste – Criuleni.
What to do to drivers
Drivers crossing the M1 are asked to take into account temporary road signs and go around the repaired section of the road.
