Dr. Hani Muhammad Zubair Chaudhry is the Assistant Deputy Minister for Research and Innovation in the Saudi Ministry of Education.
He has also held the position of Director General of Research Grants at the ministry since February.

Choudary pursued graduate medical education programs and studied Cancer Biology and Therapeutics from Harvard Medical School, the US in 2016.
He received his Doctorate in Cancer Precision Medicine from Oxford University, the UK in 2014 and an MSc in Molecular Medicine from the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University of Sheffield, the UK in 2009.
Chowdhury received his BA in Biochemistry from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah in 2006.
In October 2020, he was appointed director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Precision Medicine, a partnership between King Abdulaziz University and Oxford University.
From August 2017 to January 2021, he was Director of the Center for Aligning Learning Outcomes with the Labor Market and Vice President for Development at King Abdulaziz University.
Choudary served as Director of the Cancer Metabolism and Genetics Unit at King Abdulaziz University from September 2016 until January 2021.
He was the founder and CEO of Innovative BioMed Consultation Expert House registered under Business and Knowledge Alliance as a private consulting firm, King Abdulaziz University from December 2016 to January 2021.
Choudary was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Target Discovery Institute (TDI) and the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research at the University of Oxford from July 2016 to September 2016. He has been a visiting research fellow at TDI since June 2015.
