Ukrainians won five medals on the opening day of the European Junior Cup in Prague.

In the weight category up to 70 kg, two Ukrainians managed to make it to the finals, where they determined the winner. As a result, Natalia Chistyakova won the gold award, and Yulia Kurchenko won the silver.
Mykita Holoborodko (up to 60 kg), Vladyslav Kazimirov (up to 66 kg), and Elizaveta Lytvynenko (up to 78 kg) put three more bronze awards in the team’s treasury.
On July 18, 11 more Ukrainian judokas will perform on the tatami of Prague.
Ukraine won the first medal at the World Judo Championships.
