Autogas Has Risen to a Record High in Ukraine

The price of autogas in the networks of gas stations in Ukraine in the premium segment broke the record for the entire history of observation, reaching UAH 17.5 per liter.

This is evidenced by the monitoring of the retail market of the Consulting Group “A-95”.

It is reported that autogas rose to UAH 17.49 per liter at OKKO, UAH 17.48 per liter at SOCAR, and UAH 17.28 per liter at WOG.

KLO and Avantazh 7 raised prices by 50 and 60 kopecks per liter to UAH 16.69 and UAH 15.58, respectively.

Autogas at the stations of BRSM-Nafta and Motto went up by an average of 18 and 23 kopecks per liter, to UAH 16.03 and UAH 15.81. In the Shell network, the price increased by 30 kopecks per liter over the weekend to UAH 15.87.

Networks such as AMIC, Prime, Parallel, BVS, UPG, Chipo, SunOil, ZOG, Ukrgazvydobuvannya, Marshal, and others have raised prices by 10-80 kopecks per liter.

It is noted that over the past weekend (July 16-19) the average price of liquefied gas in the networks of gas stations in Ukraine increased by 28 kopecks per liter to 16 UAH. The last time the resource cost reached such a mark was in November 2018. (UAH 16.03 / l).

The main factor in the rise in the price of liquefied gas analysts of the consulting group “A-95” call the growth of wholesale prices of the product due to the growing deficit in most regions. It is noted that since the beginning of July the wholesale price of autogas has increased by UAH 3,000 / t, which is equivalent to UAH 1.6 per liter. During the same period, retail chains have shown a rise in price by 70-90 kopecks per liter.

It is reported that there is no talk of a critical deficit yet, but stocks in storage are depleted, and supplies of imported resources are delayed. The price of liquefied gas is rising across Europe.
