It is used to prepare snack rolls with a variety of fillings. Pita bread sheets are used to make quick breakfasts, pies and even replace them with lasagna sheets.

We offer a recipe for pita rolls stuffed with fried mushrooms and mashed potatoes, which can be served both hot and cold.
Ingredients:
2 thin Armenian pita bread
0.5 kg of potatoes
300 g of mushrooms
2 bulbs
dill
ground black pepper
salt
Preparation:
Fry the chopped onion lightly in oil, add chopped mushrooms and fry, salt, until the liquid evaporates.
Peeled potatoes cut into small pieces, boil in salted water until cooked, mash, add fried mushrooms, chopped dill, pepper, and mix well.
Spread the pita sheets on the table, layout the prepared filling on them, distributing it over the entire surface in an even layer. Carefully roll the pita into rolls and cut across into pieces 3-5 cm wide.
Prepared rolls fry in oil on both sides until golden.
On a side note:
Before frying, the rolls can be soaked in beaten eggs.
To diversify the home menu, use grated cheese, cheese with herbs, minced meat fried with onions, boiled chicken with cream cheese, fried or stewed seasonal vegetables as a filling.
If you prefer mushrooms to make pita rolls, you can fry them right away. Forest mushrooms should be pre-boiled.
