An emergency occurred in the house for the elderly – right in the middle of the night, there was a fire inside the building. The press service of the State Emergency Service of the Dnipropetrovsk region informs about this.

On the night of July 24, a message was received on the “101” line that a fire had broken out in the Kryvyi Rih nursing home, on Zheleznaya Street. Rescuers immediately went to the scene.
Four fire engines arrived at the address indicated by the applicant. It was established that the fire occurred in the utility room on the first floor.
At the time of the fire, there were 25 people in the building, of which 22 are pensioners, and the other three are employees of this boarding house. Rescuers took the pensioners out into the fresh air. Some had to be taken out in the self-contained breathing apparatus of the RPE. Fortunately, no one was hurt as a result of the incident.
It took the rescuers 54 minutes to extinguish the fire. It is reported that the fire destroyed the items in the utility room, where the fire broke out. The fire did not go beyond the limits of this room and in general, the boarding house was practically not damaged.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
