Clashes broke out between protesters and police in Paris on Saturday, July 24, during protests by opponents of vaccination and quarantine restrictions.

According to Deutsche Welle, there are victims among the police.
Protesters threw firecrackers at police, and the latter used tear gas in response, according to Reuters, citing local TV channel BTM Television. Protesters set up barricades in some streets. The riots took place at a similar demonstration in Lyon, where local authorities had previously banned it.
The demonstrations were organized by right-wing radical activists and supporters of the “yellow vests” movement in response to the French government’s intention to introduce vaccination passports and mandatory coronavirus vaccination for medical professionals.
The bill will be debated in the French Senate on Saturday, July 24. The day before, the document was approved by the lower house of parliament.
More than 100,000 demonstrators protested against vaccination in France last weekend.
