In 2021, UAH 3 billion should be allocated for the development of regional airports in Ukraine.
The State Agency for Infrastructure Projects (Ukrinfraproekt) has started a series of meetings with the management of Ukraine’s regional airports to prepare a program for the development of regional air harbors for 2021.

At the moment, a meeting has already taken place with the management of Kherson and Cherkasy airports, and talks with the heads of Vinnytsia and Rivne airports are scheduled for November 16.
The state budget for 2021 should provide UAH 3 billion for the development of regional airports in Ukraine.
In 2021, 10 airports can count on state support: Kherson, Cherkasy, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Uzhhorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Poltava, Odessa and Dnipro.
Airport in Transcarpathia
On September 8, 2020, the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy announced that the construction of a new airport in Zakarpattia involves attracting investments of up to 4 billion hryvnias, with the runway being built at the expense of the state and the terminal at the expense of a private investor.
On September 25, 2020, the Ministry of Infrastructure announced that it plans to build a new airport in Transcarpathia.
As of November 6, 2020, the number of places for the construction of the airport in Transcarpathia was reduced to two.
