As of November 12, Ukrainian agricultural producers harvested 75.2 million tons of basic crops from an area of 22.8 million hectares. In particular, 57.2 million tons of grain and legumes were threshed from an area of 14.1 million hectares (92% of the forecast).
In terms of crops collected:
corn – 21.4 million tons from an area of 4.3 million hectares (78%).
millet – 241.7 thousand tons from an area of 148.6 thousand hectares (99%);
buckwheat – 104.7 thousand tons from an area of 77.9 thousand hectares (99%);
sunflower – 12.9 million tons from an area of 6.3 million hectares (99%);
soybeans – 2.6 million tons from an area of 1.3 million hectares (94%);
6.7 million tons of sugar beets were dug from an area of 161.6 thousand hectares (75%).
Thus, for the last week the largest volumes of harvest were collected in Poltava (565.9 thousand tons), Chernihiv (464.8 thousand tons), Odessa (283.9 thousand tons), Sumy (224.7 thousand tons) and Khmelnytsky (203.7 thousand tons) regions.
