The brutal murder of a farmer, who was also a deputy of the local council, took place in the Dnipropetrovsk region. I reported about it to Anatoliy Haivoronsky, Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Congress of Farmers.

“A farmer was killed again in the Dnipropetrovsk region! This is another confirmation of the inaction of corrupt law enforcement agencies! In Boltyshka, a group of bandits tortured and strangled a farmer, ”he wrote.
On the night of July 26, a horrific murder took place in Boltyshka, Krynychany district. At about three o’clock in the morning, five unknown people in balaclavas climbed through an open window into the house of farmer Volodymyr Yevhenovych Rajda, born in 1954, tied him up and began to strangle him.
They pressed their faces into the pillow, shouting “where is the money?”. The two rushed to the wife of a farmer, a disabled worker, after a stroke, and also strangled. The torture of the veteran farmer and the robbery of the house lasted about an hour, the safe was opened. The bandits left the house immediately, as they appeared.
After that, the wife was able to report the tragedy to the family of her son Oleksandr Volodymyrovych, who lives nearby, and called an ambulance and the police. Unfortunately, medics were unable to save Volodymyr Yevhenovych – he died before their arrival, the cause of “asphyxia due to suffocation.”
“Family, fellow villagers, and the entire farming community of Prydniprovya are deeply saddened by the murder of a member of the Krynychany District Farmers‘ Association Council, local council deputy Volodymyr Razhda. He was a good husband and father of two children, worked diligently as a chief engineer of the collective farm, in the expert and technical department of “Pivdenmash”, on a farm. Compatriots respected Volodymyr Yevhenovych for his humanity, readiness to come to the rescue, care for the sport’s development of young people, ”Gaivoronsky commented.
Law enforcement officers are investigating a robbery and murder of a veteran farmer, there is no information about the suspects yet.
