In the resort Bay in the Odessa region, vacationers were sold fake tiger prawns – they were made of gelatin.

One of the tourists recorded a video in which she complained about the scheme of deception of vacationers on the beach. The video was published in the Telegram channel “Odessa as it is”.
The woman showed the goods she had bought. The tourist admitted that they were seduced by the appearance – the shrimp were large, beautiful, with bright red stripes.
“Well, of course, it cost a lot,” the woman said but did not specify how much she paid for the forgery.
The saleswoman, as the tourist noted, did not say anything about what exactly the delicacy is made of.
“How upset we were when they turned out to be made of gelatin,” the tourist said.
She suggested that the shrimp did, pouring the gelatin mass into special molds. The tourist also showed that the shrimp – a very dense consistency, even to break them was difficult. They sold the goods in a simple cellophane bag, there was no labeling. It is not specified on which beach this incident took place.
“There is no story sadder in the world than the story of king prawns, boiled, delicious, in the Gulf. From gelatin,” the authors joked in the Telegram channel.
