“Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, running on the new Google Tensor chip, will appear this fall,” the statement said.
According to the CEO of Google Inc. Sundara Pichara, Tensor’s new processor is based on the company’s 20 years of computer experience and is “Pixel’s biggest innovation to date.”
According to journalists from Engadget, who attended the closed presentation, the actual size of the new products was announced, but, as expected, the Pixel 6 Pro will be slightly larger than previous models. Among the corporate styles will appear: peach-pastel, pastel green, and black.
It was clarified that the developers have improved the configuration of the camera, and moved the selfie camera from the upper left corner to the middle of the display. Yes, the new camera is capable of transmitting 150% more light and will be equipped with a telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. It is also known that Google has redesigned the software for language processing, creating a new platform Speech On Device API (SODA), which allows applications to use Tensor for better speech recognition.
