Gas prices: what you need to know
The rise is caused by rising wholesale prices due to a sharp decline in imports in early July, rising prices for propane-butane in the EU and in the domestic market of Russia – the largest exporter of liquefied natural gas to Ukraine.
Thus, according to importers, the shipment of Rosneft’s production resource began 10 days later. Some players received small amounts from the monthly nomination during the month. Also, Lukoil reduced gas supplies to Ukraine by 31.8% in July.
In addition, due to the imposition of US and EU sanctions on Belneftekhim and the oil industry in Belarus, the volume of supplies from Belarusian plants and transit deliveries by road parties through Belarus decreased.
