There Are Already 2.256 Million Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine

In Ukraine, 2.256 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on August 4 – more than a thousand, which is more than the day before. 532 people were hospitalized for the day, a decrease against the figure the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 4, 2021, in Ukraine recorded 1,052 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19,” – said the Ministry of Health.

Also for the past day:

532 people were hospitalized;

fatalities – 25;

recovered – 542 people;

tested: by PCR – 20,950 people, by ELISA – 9,154 people, by express tests – 15,970 people.

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:

fell ill – 2 256 397 people;

2,188,815 people recovered;

fatalities – 53,049;

PCR tests were performed – 11,467,613.

Of the patients for the past day: children – 81, health workers – 37.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (187), Odesa (75), Zaporizhia (62), Kharkiv (59), and Vinnytsia (57) oblasts.

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
