On August 24, the first festival of new Ukrainian culture “FLASH” will take place in Kyiv on the 30th Independence Day. The festival will take place on the banks of the Dnieper on Trukhanov Island. This was announced by the organizers in a press release.

In addition to two music stages (at the location of the South Coast), the festival plans to market current Ukrainian brands, street space, and other activities. The event will last throughout the day.
On two stages “FLASH” will perform:
“Wagons”;
Lilu45;
Cape Cod;
Lucy;
Zbaraski;
Hyphen Dash;
Commission;
Lucas Bird;
Sera Sheer;
Moove.
It will be recalled that ” Flash ” was a documentary YouTube series about the new Ukrainian culture from the beginning. Each issue talked about a separate phenomenon: from movies and cuisine to humor and local clothing brands. The organizers say that the festival is a new stage in the development of the project and “an important thing in the socio-cultural life of progressive Ukrainians.”
“People need to discover something new and do it stylishly, relevantly, with taste. That’s why we are making a festival of new Ukrainian culture. And we really want more people in our culture to be proud of what is happening around us,” the co-organizer comments.
