Takla-Makan Desert is located in western China, it is one of the largest sandy deserts in the world – its length from west to east is more than 1000 km, width up to 400 km, the sand area over 300 thousand km².
If the height of the camel in the shoulders is 180-230 cm, it means that the water level in the desert is more than 2 m.
