In Ukraine, 2.258 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase of 619 per day on August 7, which is less than the day before. Hospitalized for the day with 561 people, an increase against the figure the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 7, 2021, in Ukraine, 619 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 (including children – 45, health workers – 11),” – said the Ministry of Health.
Also for the past day:
561 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 10;
235 people recovered;
tested: by PCR – 22,273 people, by ELISA – 9,628 people, by rapid tests – 14,940 people
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,259,151 people;
recovered – 2,190,921 persons;
fatalities – 53,095;
PCR tests were performed – 11,528,091.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kherson (101), Dnipropetrovsk (72), Kyiv (53), Odesa (50), and Kharkiv (38) oblasts. In the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
