A Network Quality Map in the USA

The FCC has quite unexpectedly released its first mobile broadband coverage map. Thanks to this, residents of the United States of America now have the opportunity to compare the coverage areas of LTE and voice communications from the four largest telecom operators providing these services in the country. With the help of this very footage, you can see exactly where you can expect to see the speed of wireless download and upload of at least 5 Mbps and 1 Mbps, respectively. All the data that we can see on this map right now are correct as of May 15, 2021.

And yes, the data will be periodically updated in order to provide the Americans with the most correct and up-to-date schedule. This map is also useful in that it can be used to easily compare what and what the coverage looks like in your area. Equally important, this tool is in turn the result of the Broadband Data Act passed last year, which in turn requires the FCC to collect and publish reliable data comparing different service providers in areas of wired, fixed, wireless, satellite, and mobile broadband.
