In Ukraine, 2.261 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on August 10 – more than 1.1 thousand, which is more than the day before. 648 people were hospitalized per day, almost doubling the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 10, 2021, in Ukraine, 1,122 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
648 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 25;
recovered – 1,160 people;
tested: by PCR – 23,633 people, by ELISA – 8,963 people, by rapid tests – 20,604 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,261,354 people;
recovered – 2,193,752 people;
fatalities – 53,149;
PCR tests were performed – 11,582,812.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 54, health workers – 31.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (186), Zaporizhia (96), Donetsk (89), Kharkiv (81), and Dnipropetrovsk (70) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
