The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the dismissal of Aina Tymchuk from the post of the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

This was announced by Oleksiy Honcharenko, a People’s Deputy from the European Solidarity faction, in his Telegram channel.
“The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the dismissal of Aim Leonidovna Tymchuk from the post of the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration,” the deputy wrote.
The day before, Kharkiv journalists published the results of an investigation which states that in 2015 Tymchuk issued a power of attorney to her ex-husband Andriy Tymchuk (now head of the regional department of Ukrtransbezpeky) for the sale of her Astoria hotel in Crimea.
Tymchuk himself said in a conversation with a potential buyer of the hotel that he had given bribes to Ukrainian security forces for closing the case on terrorist financing through doing business in Crimea.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Tymchuk to the position of the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration on November 27, 2020.
