McDonald’s will require all of its employees in the United States to complete a full course of coronavirus vaccination by September 27. Fast-food employees will be required to wear protective masks at work, regardless of whether they are vaccinated or not.

“The increase in infections with COVID-19 strains is of concern to many of us. Many of you have told us that you would feel more at ease in the office if you were sure that your colleagues have been vaccinated, ”the statement said.
The corporation postponed from September 7 to October 11 the resumption of full-time work at its headquarters and branches in the United States.
In particular, suppliers and contractors visiting McDonald’s must also undergo a full course of vaccination.
The corporation’s management will not oblige employees of fast-food restaurants to get vaccinated but is ready to give them up to four hours of a paid break for immunization.
In the spring, McDonald’s workers in the United States planned to strike across the country.
