In Ukraine, 2.263 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day of August 12 – more than 1.2 thousand, which is at the level of the previous day. At the same time, 613 people were hospitalized per day, which is more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“As of August 12, 2021, 1,263 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
613 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 44;
recovered – 1,007 people;
tested: by PCR – 22,318 people, by ELISA – 8,133 people, by rapid tests – 16,904 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,263,864 people;
2,195,798 people recovered;
fatalities – 53,217;
PCR tests were performed – 11,627,179.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 73, health workers – 52.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (166), Odesa (99), Donetsk (84), Kharkiv (78), and Lviv (78) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
