It is reported that the match will take place in Nur-Sultan at the Astana Arena stadium and will start at 17:00 Kyiv time.
“According to the letter sent to the Ukrainian Football Association from FIFA, fans from Ukraine will not be able to support our national team in this match. In agreement with UEFA, it was decided to cancel the quota of 5% of tickets for fans of the visiting teams for all September matches of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and friendly matches of national teams during the September “window”. This decision is due to the recent outbreaks of COVID-19 in Europe and the large number of matches that will be played during this time, “- said in a statement.
On August 3, it became known that the head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko is leaving the national team due to the expiration of his contract.
Apart from Serhiy Rebrov, Oleksandr Petrakov, under whose leadership the youth national team became the world champion in 2019, is currently being considered the coach of the Ukrainian national football team.
