In Ukraine, 2.265 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on August 13 – more than 1.3 thousand, which is more than the previous day. 641 people were hospitalized per day, which is also more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 13, 2021, in Ukraine recorded 1,353 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 (including children – 99, health workers – 33,” – said the Ministry of Health.
Also for the past day:
641 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 21;
recovered – 691 people;
tested: by PCR – 24,962 people, by ELISA – 9,121 people, by rapid tests – 17,068 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,265,217 people;
recovered – 2,196,589 people;
fatalities – 53,238;
PCR tests were performed – 11,652,141.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (198), Kharkiv (138), Dnipropetrovsk (117), Donetsk (98), and Odesa (81).
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
