About 95 illegal migrants have been rescued off the southeastern coast of Tunisia.

According to the representative of the Tunisian Red Crescent Society in the province of Medenin Munjiu Selima, the coast guard found a faulty boat with migrants off the coast in the area of Jarjis.
Among those rescued: 59 citizens of Sudan, 17 – Syria, 7 – Egypt, 6 – Bangladesh, 3 – Guinea, 2 – Ghana, and one – Tunisia.
“The boat with the migrants sailed the day before from the city of Sabrat in Libya. All who were on board the boat were taken to the port of Jargis. Illegal migrants will be quarantined in the migration-center, ”Selim said.
More than 700 people were rescued while trying to cross the Mediterranean on dangerous and weak ships.
