As of August 12, the harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops was carried out on an area of 8.9 million hectares (56.2% of the forecast) with a yield of 4.41 t / ha, threshed more than 39.5 million tons (+7.3 million tons per last week) grains of the new harvest. In terms of crops threshed:
wheat – 6.23 million hectares (87.8% to the forecast) with a yield of 4.6 t / ha, threshed 28.6 million tons;
barley – 2.26 million hectares (91.7% to the forecast) with a yield of 4.16 t / ha, threshed 9.42 million tons;
peas – 232 thousand hectares (95.9% of the forecast) with a yield of 2.3 t / ha, threshed 541 thousand tons.
The leaders in grain harvesting are agricultural producers from Odesa and Kharkiv regions. Agrarians of the Odesa region harvested grain from an area of 923 thousand hectares (75%) of cereals and legumes with a yield of 3.9 t / ha and threshed 3.6 million tons of grain. Agrarians of the Kharkiv region harvested grain from an area of 703 thousand hectares (66%) with a yield of 4.79 t / h and threshed 3.3 million tons of grain.
The leaders in grain yield remain agricultural producers of Khmelnytsky and Volyn, who harvested 29 and 45% of the area with a yield of 6.1 and 5.9 t / ha, respectively.
Agrarians of Luhansk, Mykolayiv, Poltava, and Kherson oblasts have completed the wheat harvest. Pea threshing ended in most regions of Ukraine
In addition, rapeseed was harvested on an area of 1.12 million hectares (94% of the forecast) with a yield of 2.7 t / ha, threshed more than 2.6 million tons (+500 thousand tons last week) of seeds. Agricultural producers of 9 oblasts – Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolayiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv – have finished harvesting rapeseed.
