Ukraine plans to build a modern International Center for Children’s Scientific Creativity.

The research center will be built at the initiative of the Small Academy of Sciences under the auspices of UNESCO.
According to the President of the Academy of Sciences Stanislav Dovgy, the new complex will provide an opportunity to hold children’s international scientific competitions of the highest level in Ukraine.
“This is the prestige and authority of our country as an intellectual and high-tech state. Until 2017, unfortunately, Ukrainian schoolchildren practically did not participate in international competitions. And today they have more than 50 competitions available, children bring more than 180 awards a year. We have reached the level when we are already offered to hold international competitions in Ukraine, “said the President of the Academy of Sciences.
The Center for Children’s Science will have its own observatory and prototyping laboratory, which will allow young space explorers and inventors to work with modern equipment.
The new center will also have all the necessary infrastructure for educational and competitive events: three conference halls, a cinema hall and a spherical cinema.
In addition, the complex will have its own energy supply system, a hotel for teachers, a youth hostel, a dining room, and a sports and wellness complex.
