2.265 Million Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine

In Ukraine, there were more than 2.265 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19, an increase over the day, August 14 – almost 700, which is less than the previous day. 569 people were hospitalized per day, which is also less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 14, 2021, in Ukraine, 695 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 (including 50 children, 5 medical workers) were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.

Also for the past day:

569 people were hospitalized;

fatalities – 17;

238 people recovered;

tested: by PCR – 15,456 people, by ELISA – 2,494 people, by express tests – 12,848 people.

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:

fell ill – 2,265,912 people;

recovered – 2,196,827 people;

fatalities – 53,255;

PCR tests were performed – 11,667,597.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (87), Ivano-Frankivsk (60), Odesa (59), Dnipropetrovsk (58), and Kharkiv (53) oblasts.

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
