Public transport will change traffic in Kyiv on Friday, August 20, in preparation for the Independence Day parade.

Temporary traffic restrictions and change of public transport routes are provided for the rehearsal period, which will take place from 15:30 to 01:15.

bus routes №№ 2, 5, 7, 14, 20, 20-to, 23, 24, 31, 32, 47, 53, 62, 69, 72, 90, 114, 115, 118, 119, 137-N, 500;
trolleybus routes №№ 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 17, 19, 19-D, 26, 33, 40, 40-K, 91-N, 92-N, 93-n, 94- N;
tram routes №№ 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19.
If necessary, the movement of routes will be organized:

During the rehearsals, the access of citizens to the territory adjacent to the places of artillery salute on Trukhanov Island will be limited.
Independence Day parade: how it will be
Three columns will take place on Khreshchatyk in Kyiv:
On foot – representatives of all security and defense forces of Ukraine, cynological units of Ukraine.
Air – Air Force, Land Forces, Navy, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, National Guard of Ukraine, National Police of Ukraine, State Emergency Service of Ukraine, State Enterprise “Antonov”.
Mechanized – weapons and military equipment of the security and defense forces of Ukraine, as well as military equipment of partner countries.
They promise that an artillery salute will be launched from Trukhanov Island, and at the end of the parade, there will be a flight of combat aircraft, the launch of flares and smoke painted in the colors of the state flag of Ukraine.
