The Verkhovna Rada will gather the required number of votes for the adoption in the first reading of the bill on the great State Emblem of Ukraine (№ 5712). The chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov told journalists about it on Friday.

The Speaker of the Parliament also announced that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in the speech and will speak at the solemn sitting of the Verkhovna Rada on August 24, timed to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence.
Next week, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will meet in an extraordinary session on August 23 and 24.
