Al Taweel is the founder and CEO of RQMNH, which provides complete e-commerce and IT solutions to transform retail stores into online stores. Prior to that, he was the Chairman of the E-Commerce Committee of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry from December 2016 to August 2020.
He was a member of the Entrepreneurship Committee of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) from February 2018 to November 2019. The committee discusses the obstacles faced by entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and evaluates the proposed solutions from Monsha’at.
He was also a member of the National Trade Committee of the Council of Saudi Chambers from October 2017 to October 2018 and an executive advisor for e-commerce in SADAD Payments from May 2016 to February 2017.
As a consultant, Al-Taweel worked with high-level management on the SADAD application to analyze and improve online payment gateway service providers and to enable additional online payment solutions for the e-commerce sector in Saudi Arabia.
He served as Director of SAP ERP Services at Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) from 2010 to 2013, working on a large supply chain management project to facilitate SABIC’s global operations.
He was also the Quality Control Leader for Saudi Business Machines from October 2004 to June 2006 and worked on the Mobily project in several phases.
Al-Taweel holds a Master’s degree in Micro-Business Administration from Babson College in the United States to study the growth and business of small and medium-sized enterprises. He also obtained a master’s degree in Information Systems from Central Michigan University, in the United States. Al-Taweel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from King Saud University.
