The Montenegrin government has introduced new epidemiological measures related to the rapid spread of the coronavirus, in particular, restricted entry into the country.

Thus, Montenegrin citizens and foreigners can enter Montenegro only if one of the conditions is met, writes ” Balkan Observer “, namely:
vaccination against COVID-19 (at least one dose),
negative PCR test performed within 72 hours before entry,
evidence of COVID-19 disease (after positive PCR or rapid antigen test has minutes of at least 14 days, but not more than 180),
negative rapid test for antigen not older than 48 hours.
Otherwise, the person will be sent to self-isolation for 14 days, which can be stopped on the sixth day, receiving a negative PCR test.
At the same time, Montenegro can be entered without any restrictions from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, and Northern Macedonia. This applies to both Montenegrin citizens and citizens of these countries.
It is noted that in the last 28 days in Montenegro, 930 tourists infected with coronavirus were registered, which is 12.84% of the total number of detected cases during this period (7,243).
The Embassy of Ukraine in Montenegro announced that, according to official information, the new restrictive measures on an entry will be in force from August 24. Children under 5 do not need tests.
Other restrictions in Montenegro
In addition, the Montenegrin authorities have introduced special rules for weddings, birthdays, funerals in catering establishments, as well as attending cultural events, which provide for the simultaneous presence of several people in one space.
In addition, the country prohibits the gathering of more than 50 adults in open public spaces – sidewalks, squares, streets, promenades, and more. Fewer people can gather in accordance with the established measures: wearing masks and keeping distance.
The government recommends reducing the duration of the school lesson to half an hour.
Such measures will run from August 21 to September 10 and may vary. The media also reported on the effect of the restrictions from August 24.
