The parties signed a new agreement, which will run until June 30, 2023. The financial details of the deal are not specified.
Last season, the 33-year-old Frenchman played 46 games for the Madrid club in all competitions, in which he scored 30 goals and gave nine assists.
In total, the disgraced striker has already won 19 trophies with Real Madrid and has been named Footballer of the Year in France three times.
Lunin’s rival has extended his deal with Real Madrid.
