In Ukraine, 2.274 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day, August 21 – more than a thousand, which is less than the day before. 701 people were hospitalized per day, which is more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 21, 2021, in Ukraine recorded 1,003 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 (including children – 45, nurses – 17),” – said in a statement.
Also for the past day:
◾️ 701 people were hospitalized;
◾️ fatal cases – 25;
23 236 people recovered.
Tested per day:
◾️ by PCR –
15,850 people, ◾️ by ELISA –
2,233 people, ◾️ by rapid tests – 20,019 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
◾️ fell ill – 2,274,561 people;
◾️ recovered – 2,200,999 people;
◾️ fatalities – 53,457;
П PCR tests were performed – 11,816,619.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (153), Dnipropetrovsk (131), Kharkiv (77), Odesa (76), and Zhytomyr (52) oblasts.
