This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 22, 2021, in Ukraine, 610 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
425 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 17;
434 people recovered.

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,275,171 people;

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (164), Chernivtsi (52), Odesa (51), Dnipropetrovsk (44), and Zaporizhia (39) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
