Oven-baked eggplant boats with a tender filling of two types of cheese – a delicious and healthy dish, which can handle even a novice hostess. It is necessary to play with stuffing for stuffed cabbage, and here it is simple enough to mix the crushed products.
ingredients:
4 eggplants
250 g of sour milk cheese
250 g of hard cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic
dill
basil
ground black pepper
salt
Preparation:
Washed eggplant, without peeling or cutting off the stalks, cut in half lengthwise, and boil in salted water for 15-20 minutes.
From the cooled aubergines to prepare shuttles, having carefully taken out from them a part of the pulp.
Grate the hard cheese on a large grater, add cottage cheese, egg, mashed eggplant pulp, garlic passed through a press, chopped greens, salt, pepper and mix well.
Fill the prepared shuttles with cheese mass and bake for 30 minutes at 180 ° C.

Eggplants choose young, elastic, medium size, and the right shape.
In a bouquet of greens for the filling, you can add parsley, cilantro, rosemary, thyme. In the absence of fresh greens, season the filling with ready-made dry mixes – Italian or Provencal herbs, hops-suneli.
Hard cheese can be replaced with brine – Imereti, Adyghe, or cheese.
As a filling, you can use minced meat, chicken, vegetables, mushrooms.
