The solemn sitting of the Verkhovna Rada on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine will begin at 1 p.m. President Volodymyr Zelensky will speak at it.
An extraordinary session of the parliament convened by the head of state is scheduled to begin at 2:20 p.m. The agenda of the extraordinary session envisages consideration of the draft law ? 5712 “On the Great State Emblem of Ukraine”.
On June 29, the Verkhovna Rada registered a bill on the “Great State Emblem of Ukraine,” initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Razumkov previously stated that the Rada will have enough votes for the bill on the large coat of arms in the first reading.
