The President of the European Council Charles Michel congratulated Ukraine on the 30th anniversary of Independence and promised that the EU will continue to support our country.

“I congratulate Ukraine and President Volodymyr Zelensky on the 30th anniversary of Independence. The EU will continue to support Ukraine and its people, based on our common values. Our Association Agreement is designed to bring Ukraine closer to the EU, ”Michel wrote on Twitter.
The President of the European Council arrived in Ukraine on August 22. The day before, on August 23, Michel took part in the Crimean Platform summit in Kyiv.
Earlier today, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken also congratulated Ukraine and said that the United States will continue to support our country’s efforts to protect itself from Russian aggression and achieve Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and other Ukrainian high-ranking officials also made congratulated them.
