In Ukraine, 2.276 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on August 24 – more than 720, a slight increase against the figure the day before. 682 people were hospitalized per day, which is more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 24, 2021, in Ukraine, 727 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
682 people were hospitalized;
fatal cases – 20;
382 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 12,855 people, by ELISA – 2,110 people, by rapid tests – 11,239 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,276,590 people;
recovered – 2,202,160 people;
fatalities – 53,521;
PCR tests were performed – 11,857,352.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 46, nurses – 10.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (109), Odesa (62), Zaporizhia (62), Ternopil (57), and Chernivtsi (55) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
