According to de Boncin, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian is in Kyiv today to celebrate Ukraine’s independence day.
Today, Ukrainians also celebrate Independence Day, which is celebrated in honor of the adoption in 1991 by the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic of the Law on the Independence of Ukraine – a political and legal document that testifies to the new status of the Ukrainian state.
