In Ukraine, 2.278 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on August 25 – more than 1.5 thousand, doubling against the figure the day before. At the same time, 464 people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“On August 25, 2021, 1,581 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
464 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 45;
1269 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 23,120 people, by ELISA – 7,427 people, by rapid tests – 21,880 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,278,171 people;
recovered – 2,203,429 people;
fatalities – 53,566;
PCR tests were performed – 11,880,472.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 104, health workers – 38.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (264), Donetsk (161), Odesa (119), Kharkiv (105), and Luhansk (93) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
