Today, 26 August, the work of the Tripartite Contact Group resumes, namely the general meeting at the level of heads of delegations.

The day before, on August 25, after a short break, the Tripartite Contact Group resumed its work, when subgroups met.
On the agenda:
- implementation of the Minsk agreements and the results of the Paris summit:
- ensuring security in the conflict zone: compliance with the ceasefire, updating the demining plan;
- political aspects in connection with the implementation of the Minsk agreements,
- measures in the humanitarian sphere: resumption of the CPVW and opening of new one’s Gold and Happiness; exchange of detainees, full and unconditional access of international organizations in the occupied territories
- economic aspects of restoring socio-economic ties through the line of contact, etc.
The day before, Russia decided to join a Ukrainian woman convicted of terrorism.
