Representatives of the people in Armenia staged a fight in the parliament. The skirmish was due to the fact that the defense ministers were called traitors.

On August 25, during a parliamentary session, the deputy from the ruling faction of the Civil Contract Hayk Sargsyan called the defense ministers traitors, under whom they were allegedly released from military service for money.
“I believe that all those defense ministers, under whom liberation from the army was bought for money, are traitors to the homeland,” the politician said.
After such a statement, one of the country’s ex-defense ministers, Seyran Ohanyan, threw a bottle of water at the deputy. In turn, Sargsyan threw the bottle back, which caused a fight.
The speaker of parliament announced a break, called security, and demanded that the journalists stop the live broadcast. The parliamentary security service calmed down the parliamentarians who had grown to taste and led them out of the conference room.
