In Ukraine, 2.28 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been registered, an increase of 2,000 per day on August 26, an increase of a quarter against the figure the day before. More than 800 people were hospitalized per day, significantly more than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 26, 2021, in Ukraine, 2,032 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
838 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 66;
1 253 people recovered.
tested: by PCR – 23,049 people, by ELISA – 7,219 people, by rapid tests – 23,218 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,280,203 people;
recovered – 2,204,682 people;
fatalities – 53,632;
PCR tests were performed – 11,903,521.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 127, health workers – 46.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (262), Kharkiv (195), Donetsk (127), Kherson (124), and Chernivtsi (123) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
