It is easy to prepare, bakes quickly, and turns out delicious.
Ingredients:
12-15 apricots
150 g of flour
150 g of sugar
120 g of butter
3 eggs
40 ml of milk
1.5 teaspoons baking powder
powdered sugar
Preparation:
Softened butter grind with sugar, then add one by one with constant stirring eggs. Then, without stopping to stir, pour a thin stream of milk, gradually add the sifted flour with baking powder and mix until smooth.
Pour the prepared thick dough into a form greased with butter, flatten, and layout the halves of apricots on it.
Bake at 180 ° C until done.
Sprinkle the surface of the cooled cake with powdered sugar.
On a side note:
As a filling for a jellied pie, it is possible to use any berries, apples, pears, peaches, plums, cherries.
In winter, use canned pineapples, frozen berries, or dried fruits for this cake.
