On September 2, the tripartite contact group scheduled the first meeting of the expert group on environmental issues of flooding of mines along the demarcation line in Donbas.

“The first meeting of the Expert Group on Environmental Issues of Flooding of Mines along the Demarcation Line is scheduled for September 2, 2021. This meeting will be chaired by international expert Prof. Drebenstedt, a recognized specialist in mining, ”the TCG said.
In addition, the Ukrainian side is also actively developing digital tools for remote verification and identification for the payment of pensions to low-mobility categories of Ukrainian citizens in the uncontrolled territory.
The meeting of the subgroup also stressed the importance of opening two CPVs by ORDLO, which would significantly improve the ability to pay pensions to mobile categories of pensioners and the ability to provide other public services to citizens of Ukraine on both sides of the line.
26 August, the Tripartite Contact Group resumed its work, namely the general meeting at the level of heads of delegations.
